Mont Blanc news - iPhone and new iPad apps available; where to buy the Mont Blanc Red Gold Starwalker

If you're a regular iPad user, you pretty much can't view the Mont Blanc site, and you'd have to switch to a notebook or desktop computer. So I figured that Mont Blanc is missing out on the iPad users market. So I was thinking there should be an iPad app, and then when I checked, true enough, there is.

The new iPad app came out just this May 2012. And although you are limited to viewing the limited editions, this app is aptly named Passion because it draws out ones passion and enthusiasm for fine writing instruments. You can now know the history behind each of the limited editions, plus the app gives insight into the rich history, careful craftsmanship and the sheer luxury of the Mont Blanc pens. Read more about the app here. Or go straight to the iTunes store to download your free copy.

If you want more of the Mont Blanc line-up of fine luxury products, you can also check out the Mont Blanc iPhone app from the iTunes store. It's not the full range, but gives you a taste of the pens, leather, timepieces, eyewear and accessories.

On the Starwalker Red Gold, if you were to buy this, the best place between Singapore and Malaysia would be the Singapore Duty Free Mont Blanc boutiques at Changi Terminal 1 or 2. You could get the deep black resin with red gold highlights ballpoint pen for SGD 534. this compares to RM 1,580 at the Malaysia KLIA Duty Free Mont Blanc boutique. This is an exception from my earlier advise in my previous blog, and the reason is because they don't give a discount for this new item.

The same holds true for the special edition Mont Blanc red gold played metal and matte black lacquer pen. If you're interested in this pen, get a good feel of how it sits on your fingers before making your purchase. It's a beautiful pen to look at, with a price that warrants deliberate consideration.
But note this!
No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will stand by and be devoted to the one and despise and be against the other. You cannot serve God and mammon (deceitful riches, money, possessions, or whatever is trusted in). (Matthew 6:24 AMP)
Then He said to them, "Beware, and be on your guard against every form of greed; for not even when one has an abundance does his life consist of his possessions." (Luke 12:15 NASB)

Enjoy what God has granted, or enabled you to have. But don't let possessions possess you!
