Elegant Condo right in Makati; a taste of Singapore-Orchard condo living at Bonifacio Global City, the Philippines

Our Singapore condo experience. God has allowed us to live in one of the upscale condos in Singapore, in the neighborhood of Orchard road, the main shopping street of Singapore. The place is called Avalon, on Anderson Road, and it's a low-density condominium where almost all of the neighbors are expats from all over the world, and we are among only two Filipino families living here. We have a 3-bedroom "ensuite" unit for our family with my two college kids, and the condo even has semi-private elevators so each unit has its own elevator and doesn't share with the two other units on each floor. We've enjoyed this place deeply, and my wife and I would often have pleasant evening or even midnight walks to Orchard for coffee or a snack, or to get items from Jason's 24-hour supermarket. We've met as the CCF Orchard D Group for the last 2 years here at Avalon, and it's been a home where God's love and blessings flow freely. Weekends are a blessing as I would often read and have personal Bible study and prayer times at the poolside in the mornings, then we'd head off as a family to Orchard to choose from among the wide selection of Orchard restaurants. I am not sharing this out of deep wonder, amazement and awe at God's goodness, and to provide context.

It is in light of the above that we were very pleasantly surprised to be introduced to the opportunity to invest at Sequoia at Two Serendra at Bonifacio Global City in the Philippines. This is an Ayalaland development, and if you're from the Philippines, you'd undoubtedly know about Ayala from it's upper class malls and properties. It's also been known to uphold and greatly appreciate the value of it's developments. Part of it is the strong measure of control it maintains, so you don't end up with uncouth neighbors who are unruly and end-up depreciating the value of your carefully-selected home.

The units for sale at Two Serendra are now the high rise developments, same as the tall building in the middle of the above photo. It's labeled as being sixty floors at the top, but it's actually only about fifty-three floors when you take out the floor numbers that are skipped. As you'd see from the photos the surroundings are very serene and beautifully green, and I was thrilled as I was walking the private grounds of Two Serendra as I couldn't help but think of Avalon near Orchard in Singapore.

The one-bedroom unit at Sequoia is priced between P7MM to P8MM, depending on the floor. There are also two- and three-bedroom units. We went to the showroom and were very pleased with how spacious the single-bedroom unit was. At 67 square meters, it is twice the size of many one-bedroom units in other developments.

The sizes of the bedroom and living areas are very adequate, with space for a small dining set.

The bedroom comes with a cabinet, so there is no urgency to build once the unit is turned over.

Full wall mirrors are used nicely to create the feeling of expansiveness. It's not just for impression, it actually feels good.

The bedroom with a queen size bed.

An ample study desk can fit in the bedroom.

It is delivered "finished" with wood-type floor tiles, finished toilet and bath, a kitchen with modular counters and a granite top. There's space for an oven and a regular-size refrigerator.

The kitchen size is very comfortable and adequate. There's even a small service room for a washing machine and dryer, and could be a storage area or a maid's room.

The grounds at Two Serendra are open only to unit owners, so it's very private.

The grounds are well maintained, and give you the feeling of space.

The gym is well stocked with weight training and aerobic equipment.

There are even underground badminton courts and basketball courts (yes, plural), and what's great is that there is a concierge where you can reserve time slots, so you don't just go to the court without a reservation, not sure whether you can play or not. Actually, the whole of Two Serendra is serviced by a reception lobby, so you have the feeling of being in a nice resort hotel.

Aside from this leisure pool, there will also be a lap pool. So clearly, lifestyle is a priority at Two Serendra.

The pathway here leads to a lounge exclusive for the unit holders so you can meet, read or laze away. And right next to this lounge is....

an access entrance to the restaurants at Serendra! It's almost like a magic door! Again with a reception desk so this access is only for unit owners. So all the beauty of Two Serendra is just tucked discreetly from view of everyone who visits Serendra to enjoy the fabulous dining places and shoppes.

Late night coffee and high-end shopping? Bonifacio High Street is the best place to go to in Makati. Want a nature stroll within the City? BGC is the place. Great bookstores in Fully Booked, and even mainstream shopping places and a supermarket are within an easy walk at Market Market.

All these sum up to a wonderful destination in Two Serendra. The rates are still pre-selling prices, so it's a good time to invest. Not sure who to contact? Don't know any of the professional and reliable Ayala brokers? Send me an email or a message and I'll put you in touch.

I'm looking forward to the turnover, still 5 years down the road! Be one of the favored ones to own a unit here by buying-in early.

Blessings!

P.S. when there was flooding in Manila, BGC was high and dry thanks to an innovative and forward-thinking underground flood control mechanism. These are part of the nice-to-haves of a great development. Thank God.
