Exciting times for Iran, and good times ahead!

I was on a flight from Singapore to Manila today and in the wee hours of this morning I was listening to the podcasts of Joel Rosenberg. When I got to his latest podcast on Iran, it got me so excited! God is moving in Iran! Amidst the backdrop of dark political leadership, of a recent leader who was openly bent on annihilating Israel, then on a new road with a leader seemingly more moderate but who is reported to be of the same political persuasions as his predecessor, God is moving behind the scenes and doing a mighty work.

Dr. Hormoz Shariat, “the Billy Graham of Iran,” and Joel Rosenberg broadcasting the Gospel and Bible prophecy into Iran via satellite TV.

Or listen to the podcast on Joel Rosenberg's message on Bible prophecy and Iran and how the nation of Iran will be blessed under God, with it's fortunes restored, directly from here.

The message was very real to me since I have a good friend from Iran who studied in the Philippines. His stories of how other people from Iran's younger generation have also studied in the Philippines, matches up with the updates from Joel. This friend of mine has come to know Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and Lord. He lives a good and blessed life, and prays for his parents who are in Iran.

It is exciting for me to hear of how Iran's fortunes will be restored, of how prophetically Iran will be blessed as a nation under God, and could even be a missionary sending church much like how the United States was (still is) and has been blessed as a nation for it. As a potential scenario, Iran could be a blessing to Israel as the Jewish nation is drawn to a true knowledge of God and recognition of Jesus as Messiah, because of envy at Iran.
