FitFlop (TM) shoes with the Microwobbleboard (TM) midsole are some of the best shoes you can buy for walking. As a hiker who has ascended many mountains and on many of those climbs having a 40-lb backpack, and as a frequent traveller who has visited many countries and cities and likes to walk far and explore new places and do so mostly on foot, and who for three-plus years had twice-a-week traverses through long stretches of airport terminals and do so every other week, I know how big a difference it is to have great walking shoes. And now for a limited time, until Sunday, May 25, 2014, you can buy selected pairs at up to 80% Off the regular price at ResToeRun at Solenad 2 Nuvali at Sta. Rosa!
If you already own FitFlop shoes, then you know what I mean by the comfort and firmness the shoes provide. If you are not familiar with FitFlop shoes, you can read more about FitFlop (TM) shoes from my previous blog, using this link.
To keep the story short, the Microwobbleboard and FitFlop shoe technology are not hype. They really deliver! It took my wife some convincing for me to purchase my first FitFlop, but once I tried it, I had a quick succession and a long series of purchases. I also recognized that with my wife, I could see how much farther and longer she would walk effortlessly while on travel or shopping and using FitFlops. And I've never had to break-in any of my FitFlops. So for the last 4+ years, almost all my new shoes were FitFlops.
And now for a limited time, until Sunday May 25, you can get selected Men's FitFlops at up to 80% off! Why the BIG sale on Men's shoes? I think it's because many men don't know this shoe brand yet. But these are regular stocks, and come Monday, May 26, they go back to their regular prices! This sale is at ResToeRun at Solenad 2 Nuvali. So if you live south of Manila, or have a trip to Tagaytay over the weekend and are passing Sta. Rosa, you have the chance to avail of this special sale!
I got these FitFlop Kooper (Leather) Chocolate shoes. Regular price: PhP 7,490. New marked down price: PhP 6,990. I got them for PhP 2,000!
My wife and I were just coming home from Tagaytay this Thursday and had an early dinner at Rose & Grace Bulalo, then we went to Solenad 2 where I proceeded to have coffee at BreadBox, one of our favorite places for comfort food and local coffee while we lived in Singapore. Then my wife told me about the sale of FitFlops at ResToeRun, insisted I check it out, and I ended up quickly snatching up two pairs! Yes I thought and prayed about it, and I truly avoid impulse buying as I want to be deliberate with my purchases, but this was the best price ever for FitFlop shoes, so I bought them!
For comparison, I bought my very first FitFlop in Singapore for SGD 130 (PhP 4,500!). Quite a sum in Pesos, so yes, the hesitation at my very first purchase. Then I got many shoes in between, and one of my last FitFlops purchases was when the Monty Leather just came out, and I got it for SGD 270 (PhP 9,415) at Isetan in Singapore (another place for great FitFlop deals)! Considering the prices at ResToeRun, you'd go ga-ga over the discounts! And so I did :)
I got these FitFlop Supertone (Leather) Sergeant Green shoes. Regular price: PhP 5,990. New marked down price: PhP 3,970. I got them for PhP 2,000!
In fact the Monty Leather was also on sale, same as the one I purchased in Singapore for SGD 270, and it was going for only P2,500! What a great deal!
FitFlops really go on sale from time to time, but this is the first I've seen it with such a huge discount. If you don't catch the sale, you can still purchase at the regular price. That's what I did most of the time, especially if I was buying the latest design offering. But if you're just scouting, check out shops and prices, and you may catch a great deal. Once when my wife and I were in Puerto Princesa in Palawan, I was able to buy FitFlop sandals at the Ayala mall at a big discount. Also, SM Mall of Asia would have good discounts at their FitFlop store (though I've never purchased from there yet).
That's it for now. Just wanted to share good news on special deals.
Have you purchased FitFlops? How do you find them?
Know of any special deals from any good store? Share it here, no matter what country it's located! We'll appreciate the updates!
PS. When I got home, I checked and found out that my two FitFlops that are about 4 years old, had just started to get too worn at the edges of their soles. So my two "replacement" purchases turned out to be quite timely. Thank God for the opportunity to buy at special deals!

Just saw FitFlop at amazingly low SALE prices again at Res Toe Run at the new Century Mall in Makati. This is claimed to be the newest mall in Makati, and it's a stylish and upscale mall to visit. Somewhat smallish, but definitely one to check out. t's located along Kalayaan Road.
