Bose Headphones to me are the standard to match. Sound clarity and definition are excellent. Fine and detailed sounds are captured delicately. Bass sounds are delivered with depth and boom without being overpowering. Sound balancing is accurate and pleasing, and does not require elaborate tuning. And the headphone build quality is excellent, giving many years of listening enjoyment.
The new Bose SoundLink Over Ear Bluetooth Headphones. A great buy! You get Bose superior performance at the price of more conventional brands.
Have you ever heard the argument or read some of the high fidelity forums reviews saying the Bose speaker systems are just expensive hype and not really good? They base many of the comments on specs and repeatedly say they can get equivalent or better sound at a lower cost. But I've started to equate Bose speakers as the Apples and Macs to normal PCs. PC users who don't get how Apple has redefined the electronics market, sing the same tune and say they can get better computer specs and hardware at much lower prices. But they don't understand the total Apple package. They don't understand the intuitive and well thought out total solutions of the simple yet sophisticated and stable Apple environment. And for the purpose of this article, we can lay that argument aside since we are talking about headphones and not multiple speaker systems. And here I am extremely happy with my various Bose headphones.
My Bose Quiet Comfort Over Ear Noise-Cancelling headphones, that has been a joy to use. Whether on a flight or in a cafe, the beautiful sounds and quiet solitude it delivers creates a great personal space wherever I am, enabling me to focus on whatever it is I would like to do at that moment.
If you're in the market for buying new headphones, you've got a great opportunity! The new Bose SoundLink Over Ear Bluetooth Headphones are available at a very good price of SG$ 379. Granted, this model is not cheap, but for upscale Bluetooth headphones having the Bose superior sound delivery and strong build quality, this is an easy choice if it's in your budget range. In comparison, the Bose Quiet Comfort Over Ear Noise Cancelling wired headphones go for over SG$600. The Sennheiser MM450 Over Ear Bluetooth Noise Cancelling Headphones used to sell for over SG$600 but was recently sold at SG$450. The new Bose SoundLink Over Ear Bluetooth Headphones are not noise cancelling but actually provide some sound isolation because of the superior ear cushions and fitting, so I would now give this a higher preference to the Sennheiser MM450. So for what you are getting at the selling price, this Bose SoundLink headphones are an easy choice.

Have you ever considered the sophisticated engineering capability of our human ears? They can last for 80 years or even 90+ years, whereas my best headphones have lasted less then 8 years! Our ears are extremely low maintenance provided we care for them and don't abuse them. They can hear such a broad range of sounds that headphone designers and R&D specialists have to create better and better products over the years, using careful, methodical and targetted studies, then translate these to specific build instructions for the engineers and manufacturers. There's no guesswork here! Should we believe as proponents of evolution would like us to, that our sophisticated and specialised ears are a product of chance, blind and undirected processes? Just doesn't make sense!
The hearing ear and the seeing eye, The LORD has made both of them. (Proverbs 20:12 NASB)
Praise God for our ears, and the gift of music! And thank Bod for the ability to buy great headphones!
For most of us, Earphones are a must-have for commutes and jogs, in long queues and while waiting for friends, or just for relaxing and destressing after a hard day at work. We listen to our favorite tunes, audiobooks, podcasts, the news and more, and in this age of wireless gadgets, the wireless earphone throws the problem of unruly and tangled cables out the window. But truly modern and smart earphones can do a whole lot more.
ReplyDeleteSo true. Thanks for the comments. I fully agree and have recently purchased a Jabra ROX wireless sport earphones. Quite good but not highly recommended for cycling as they create a lot of wind noise and the sound level is not too good. But wireless earphones are indeed liberating the overall performance is good. I'm actually excited to check out other pairs. Thanks for stopping by.
