Just Launched - Louis Vuitton's newest and most sleek backpack so far

The Louis Vuitton Jake backpack just arrived at the Singapore boutiques last week, and it looks mighty handsome and sleek. Designed in the distinctive yet slightly more subtle Damier Ebene canvas, this backpack is one of the best offerings of Louis Vuitton for backpacks so far!
Features unique to the LV Jake backpack are the smallish size compared to earlier models, the slimmer profile that sits closer to the back, and having much less pockets. Only two zippered compartments, in fact. The main pocket and a large mini-compartment in front. This produces clean lines and an uncluttered look. Great for urban travels.
This is the first time Liuis Vuitton used silver-coloured zippers with the Damier Ebene canvas, adding to the masculine and subdued look. The shoulder straps are padded and  comfortable while being visually strong. The back panel is the same canvas material so it is resistant to scratches and wear. And so also the overall pack is water resistant. The bottom material is a generous projection of genuine leather, adding a touch of class to an already luxurious bag.
The zippers are designed to allow the use of a small lock. Which will come in handy if you'll leave your pack under the seat in front of you on an airline seat when going to the toilet. But I'm sure you'll rush back to your back. But if you really want security, add a Packsafe extendable padlock to secure your bag to your seat. But do it discreetly so you won't seem overly anxious. Just note this is not a computer bag, so best not to lug any clunky gear with this.

Price in Singapore is about SGD 2,840. A mighty attractive price compared to the range of SGD 3,600 to SGD 3,800 for the LV Cristopher and other backpacks.

So if you're out to get your luxury backpack, consider the Louis Vuitton Jake in Damier Ebene in the LV boutiques around Singapore.
