A 2nd Dyson Cordless Vacuum? Here’s Why.

How do you know a product is really good? Or really useful? Well-built? Brings  satisfaction to use? Well, usually a confirmation is when you buy a 2nd one, maybe the newer model, or a variation that brings new features, or to use in another place or occasion.

I guess you could say that about a lot of things. Like buying a long line of Toyota cars and SUVs. Or buying each iPhone and each iPad iteration that has ever come out. Or Rimowa luggages of different colors and sizes. Or a Nitecore light for every possible situation. Or The North Face jacket of every weight and level of waterproofness. Timepieces from the famed horology houses? Sonos speakers for each room? And on and on, as God privileges you to be good stewards of. Newest to consider - a 2nd Dyson cordless vacuum cleaner!

Why, you might ask. What for? Well, Dyson home equipment I’ve come to appreciate of late - are the luxury items in their class. Packed with technological features, they are fully functional and beautiful. If you want to know more about their features, check out their website (photos below are from Dyson). For me, these are my Top 5 Reasons to own the Dyson Cordless Vacuum

1. Its a Man’s product
Sleek engineering and design! Bold choice of colors. Lots of patents on new technologies. Manufacturing execution feels like a car, with components smoothly and securely clicking into place. Look at the advertising! Of course the women in our lives will appreciate this too. Specially when we use them!! Which wife wouldn’t love a sparkling clean house!

2. The tools are exceptional
I’ve used vacuum cleaners for a long time. My Dad was fond of keeping up with advances in technology, so when I was young and it wasn’t common for many households to have vacuuum cleaners, we already had one. The Dyson vacuum has many of the common tools, but their design is uncommon. Which makes them very effective. Even the tools with a brush head uses the brushes like a “wall” to keep the suction power strong. Then there are tools that let you reach all sorts of angles easily. Very innovative!

3. It’s easy and fun to use. And fast!
It’s cordless, so you can pull it out anytime. It’s small and handy. It uses advanced batteries and charging, so you can keep it plugged in all the time, always ready to pick up. It’s powerful and doesn’t lose suction power while in use, unlike past cordless vacuum cleaners that were weak and could hardly clean anything. It has lots of parts that click together or snap open - then lock or close securely (It’s a guy thing!). It’s very effective, and that makes it really fun. Keeps my place hotel-clean every morning and night.
Okay, I should say here that we have 2 generations of Rainbow vacuum cleaners. For those who know - this is probably the ultimate and I agree. However, it’s my wife who loves using this. For me, taking the big unit out and assembling the cords and water makes it inconvenient. The Dyson has a HEPA filter that can clear dust particles to the point you can’t smell or sense them. It works for me because I sneeze in the presence of dust particles. For a long cleaning day, the Rainbow vacuum with it’s power cord will last you all day. The Dyson on the other hand, with a 40-minute battery is more than sufficient for a daily clean. The difference is that by cleaning everyday, you don’t have any dirt build-up to require a whole-day cleaning.

4. Keeps you clean “inside”
Part of the satisfaction is “knowing” that things are clean. The innovative designs let’s you know the product works. The small motorized heads for the bed and sofas work. And if you have long carpets, get the Absolute with the powered carpet cleaner.

5. Cleaning the vacuum is easy
Of course you also have to clean and empty the vacuum cleaner. With the Dyson, it’s easy. Just snap it open directly on top of a lined garbage bin, and it’s done! No mess. I suggest you then place a sheet or two of paper to “seal” the dust inside the bin.

Hope this helps you if you’re considering the Dyson unit.

Happy cleaning!
