Cycling East Coast Park to the Marina Barrage

The East Coast Park is one of the most soothing and relaxing places to visit, and i’ve often posted pics along the Park to share it’s beauty. It’s a privilege to cycle there, with separate paths for cycling and for running so it’s safe and you’re not on the lookout for cars, and it’s well-maintained gardens are a treat to the eyes. And whifts of the sea breeze reinforce to your senses that you’ve taken a quick vacation away from the city, and the occassional aroma of people roasting various BBQs add an envigorating touch.

Beautiful scenes and relaxed paths await when you cycle along the East Coast Park

Entering the East Coast Park from the Siglap Park Connector.
But during the height of the Singapore Circuit Breaker, people were asked to exercise near their areas, so I myself stayed away from the Park. Now with the circuit breaker being relaxed somewhat, it’s okay to cycle the East Coast Park again. And indeed, there are now so many people back in the Park!

There are a lot more people back to enjoying the East Coast Park, and it’s a happy sight to see more people enjoying the sun and the wind!
For the first time, I’ve started to take timewarp videos of cycing through the East Coast Park, instead of just pictures of nice spots. Check out the link below for the video!

The East Coast Park offers a lot of open and free space!
Need a break and a change in scenery - go outdoors for a quick in-the-city vacation!

Getting all the way to Gardens By The Bay East is a real treat, as is cycling to the Marina Barrage
It’s a bit of a distance from the Siglap Park Connector to the Gardens By the Bay East, but well worth the trip. And it’s a scenic route all the way!

Perfect timing to cyce at dusk, as the sunset glows over the Singapore Flyer. Very picturesque indeed.
