Cycling SG - Coney Island, Punggol Promenade Nature Walk, Promenade Riverside Walk

Cycled alongside the Serangoon River for the first time, and discovered a lot of winding and refreshing, long cycling paths! Finding the Punggol Waterway, and the Promenade Riverside Walk was a pleasant change from my usual destinations! So here are photos to entice you to seek these routes!

Long and winding paths for cyclers, runners and long day-walks. No cars here! Enjoy the scenery and get a lot of excercise in safety!

There are sections where walking and cycling paths are separate. There are also sections with few people. So you can zoom in some spots, but always be sure to keep it safe for everyone! Go early in the morning if you want to spin fast and breeze through the twisty roads.

There are scenic rest spots. Take a minute to sit and take it in. (Oh, and don’t worry about toilets. Along the routes there are strategically placed Mens and Ladies wash areas, water fountains and drink dispensers or vending machines. Thank you Singapore!)

You can get to Coney Island from the Punggol Promenade Nature Walk. You can bring your bike there and cycle around the  picturesque area.

You’ll never lose your way with maps and directions all over. And of course with your phone map - you’ll know exactly where you are.

You can also rest along the coastline facing Pulau Ubin or Pasir Gudang.

Along the routes there are also restaurants and cafés so you can eat to your delight. A

And this is a scene from Punggol Park. It’s a small park but also very beautiful.

That’s it for now. Keep discovering new paths!
Stay safe! Stay well.
