There is an exclusive and very private “sports club” right at the heart of Bonifacio Global City in Taguig, Metro Manila - the Two Serendra residences by Ayala.
Okay, this is not really a sports club, it’s a residential community. Very private and exclusive, and very well managed and run, and for me it sure beats a sports club!! I consider myself blessed by God to have a unit here from when my tower building was on pre-selling. Today the unit prices have doubled! And it’s rare to have a residential community like this.
Why do I call it a sports club? It’s because when I was considering the options for sports clubs, like maybe Tagaytay Highlands or The Palms, I thought that I don’t want to be paying monthly dues and feel “compelled” to use the facilities to get value from my investment. Also, at Tagaytay Highlands, unless you own a residential unit, you wouldn’t have a place to rest after using the various sports facilities. At Two Serendra, you could have a beautiful home and also enjoy the very many amenities that are all well maintained and with very friendly and courteous staff throughout the day.
There must be about 7 pools that you can use, including a lap pool and various leisure pools and bubble pools (not jacuzzis because they’re not heated, so yes this would be a nice addition).
Here is the lap pool, and yes that is SM Aura at the background!
Few people use the pools unlike on a sports club, Two Serendra is actually more exclusive! You will likely find a pool where no one else is swimming if that is your preference.
And if you talk about gyms, there must be about 5 gyms in different areas, with really great equipment. Each gym is typically much better than many of the 5-star hotels that I go to on many business trips in different countries!
And because of the many gyms, it’s never too crowded! Again, more exclusivity. There’s even a mega-gym with a full-size boxing ring and the gyms have very modern and high-end equipment.
There are 2 full-size indoor basketball courts, 2 indoor badminton courts with a very active badminton club for intermediate and advanced players as well as training for beginners, there are 3 indoor table tennis tables, one basketball court is convertible to indoor tennis, and recently, one indoor tennis was made convertible to 3 pickleball courts, and we had our first pickleball games for new players! Was a fun activity!
And lest you think it’s all buildings and facilities, Two Serendra is different in that it has sprawling green grounds with beautiful walking areas.
I have said before that Two Serendra is like a mini-Singapore in the heart of BGC, but actually it’s better and more exclusive 😊
There are so many facilities that a resident needs to be made aware and reminded, otherwise one would miss out on the fun.
There are also a number of kiddie playing areas, and there is a game room, various play rooms, a billiards table. There are also rentable venues that can be used for hosting large events of various sizes.
I also quite enjoyed the Two Serendra Christmas party, complete with a band and dancing, which highlighted that there is also a dancing club among residents!
There are no restaurants inside Two Serendra, but there is no need as there is a residents’ access that brings you right to the heart of the Serendra restaurants, and from where you can walk down Bonifacio High Street with all the shops and restaurants you would need!
Once more I praise and thank God for allowing me and my family to enjoy this place. God is good!
And to those blessed to have a place here or in similar venues, let’s be thankful, and keep the place very friendly and very good and very clean.
Psalm 34:8–10 (NASB95):
8 O taste and see that the Lord is good;
How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!
9 O fear the Lord, you His saints;
For to those who fear Him there is no want.
10 The young lions do lack and suffer hunger;
But they who seek the Lord shall not be in want of any good thing.
1 Timothy 6:17–19 (NASB95): 17 Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy.
18 Instruct them to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share,
19 storing up for themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is life indeed.
